Dronescan Systems’ LIDAR mapping and scanning technology uses an all-digital approach to collecting cloud point data for highly accurate three-dimensional aerial typographical maps and surveys of both man-made and naturally occurring structures. Mobile LIDAR Mapping has rapidly transformed heavy construction, mapping and infrastructure data collection. The speed and accuracy and large scale at which data acquisition can now occur makes LIDAR; whether terrestrial, mobile or UAV-LIDAR, perhaps the only truly cost effective solution.
LIDAR systems acquire data by bulk laser range finding to create a dense point cloud of accurate measurements. Through engineering LIDAR into our custom designed scanning system with other ground breaking sensors, the data can be collected at high speeds, with extremely accurate tolerances, and processed in or near real time. This reduces the expensive costs spent by engineering teams and used to collect and then process the data output into useful information. After processing the LIDAR data, we can produce both interim and final deliverables. Each is tailored to your specific needs based on the information required.
